Selling
Trade in or sell outright

A trade-in is useful when you are buying the next car here. The value comes off the price, and you skip a separate sale.
Selling outright is better when you are not ready to buy, or when the offer is stronger as cash than as a discount. Consignment sits in between: the car stays on our lot and you are paid when it sells, usually closer to retail than to a wholesale number.
Bring the title, the payoff amount if you still owe, and a realistic mile reading. We will tell you which of the three pays you more before you decide.
